Hi, I’m Erick.

Product designer and UX Engineer in Piracicaba, Brazil. For 7 years I have designed complex digital products, from SaaS platforms to enterprise systems, and shipped the interface in code.

What I do

Between design and engineering

I design the system and deliver it in code. Today I lead product design for a process automation platform, from concept to front-end.

I have worked for clients in Brazil, the United States, Europe and Asia, on design systems, interfaces for API tools and dense SaaS platforms. I have also put into production an AI assistant that queries real business data.

I started out in visual communication at CCBB Brasília, a cultural center run by Banco do Brasil. Since then, my work has been to connect product vision with what can be built, using well-organized components and code that is ready to grow.

I joined the R&D team, and today I lead the design initiatives for Zeev, a process automation platform, from concept to front-end.

I looked after the visual communication system of CCBB Brasília, the Banco do Brasil cultural center: campaigns, large-format pieces and the programming of the in-house TV screens.

From discovery to deploy

Taking part in every stage keeps a design decision from getting lost between Figma and code.

Research and context
Interviews, usage data and support tickets to understand the problem before the first screen.
Flows and prototypes
Information architecture, wireframes and clickable prototypes, validated in usability testing.
Design system
Tokens, components and documentation, so the whole team builds the same way.
Code
Front-end in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript or Vue, with accessibility and every state of the screen.
Measurement
Usability metrics and design OKRs to know whether the change worked, and what to adjust next.
